Amanda Meyer returns to Synesthesia Theatre as Nurse Carol, an emergency room nurse who has become cold and efficient due to sheer, overworked necessity.
Amanda is a Chicagoland actor who has dabbled in many areas of performance, including voiceover, stage, and film. She was previously “heard” in Synesthesia Theatre’s last audio drama, Iron Horses Can’t Be Broken, as the voice of Florence Bartleby. Recent credits include her Chicago directing debut with El Words at Fury Theatre’s Short Attention Span Theatre V: Kill Instinct short play festival, and as the role of Eleanor and others in The Curse On Mordrake House, at the 2016 Chicago Fringe Festival. Amanda was previously a company member with Dream Theatre Company from 2013-2016 and recently became an Artistic Associate with Fury Theatre, assisting with their marketing efforts. Up next, Amanda is focused on planning her wedding in May and taking care of her new puppy, Watson. To keep up with the latest, check out amandalynnmeyer.com.
