Kat plays “Sarah Bartleby” in Synesthesia Theatre’s first serial, Iron Horses Can’t Be Broken. Sarah was also exiled to America by her brother Alton, but jilted Robert Koning and her arranged marriage for the love of Iron Horse, even knowing it would make them fugitives from Koning’s considerable wrath and power.
Kat O’Connor is co-founder of Burning Brigid Media and co-producer of Synesthesia Theatre. A collaborative performer who is equal to the challenge of co-creating a story, she has been featured in a number of independent films, including the award-winning short film Hatboxes (Fernwork Productions), Out of Sight (Nebula Creatives), and 16th Street (Studio 22). She played Captain Margaret Kincade in Burning Brigid’s first audio drama, Simple Harmonic Motion. She is also an Ensemble Member of Chicago-based theatre company Terra Mysterium.
