Catch us on the radio! Upcoming interviews and appearances…

We may have been a little quiet, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy. We’re gearing up for a lot more activity in the next couple months as we lead into our fundraising campaign, and there will be multiple opportunities for you to catch our appearances.

Burning Brigid on the Radio

Michael Coorlim and Kat O’Connor will be hanging out on the air with the folks from Magick Radio Chicago on Thanksgiving weekend. You can catch us streaming live at – the widget is at the upper right of the page – or on your radio at AM1680, on Saturday, November 29, from 4 to 6pm. Tune in to hear us talk a little bit about our mission, our upcoming trans-media web series Sleep Study, and maybe a few surprises along the way!

Burning Brigid on Podcasts

We will also be chatting with the fine folks of Alcohollywood about the 1995 film Copycat and strong female protagonists in movies. Oh… and indulging in some light libations. Look for it to release by December 19!

Taking Away Judgment

Not too long ago Kat met an amazing woman, Nikki Nigl, who runs regular monthly events to discuss and support women’s empowHERment. On December 3, we’ll be talking about Body Image and the judgment behind it. Kat will present a bit on how we feel about ourselves in the face of how the media commonly represents us. These events are women-only safe spaces to have these conversations about ourselves. If you’d like to join us, come on out:
